Therapy for Autistic Adults (Online)
Burnout, Anxiety, and Support

Many autistic adults have spent years adapting—masking, pushing through, or trying to meet expectations that didn’t fully fit. Over time, this can lead to burnout, anxiety, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection from yourself.

Therapy can be a space for meaningful change, self-understanding, and growth. Many of the ways you think, feel, and respond developed for good reasons—often as ways of adapting to environments that may not have fully understood or supported you. At the same time, some patterns can begin to feel limiting, exhausting, or no longer aligned with who you are.

Rather than focusing on “fixing” these patterns, we work to understand them. Together, we explore:
– how your experiences have shaped the way you respond to the world
– what feels overwhelming, stuck, or out of sync
– what support, clarity, or adjustments might help things feel more manageable

I take a collaborative approach, where we make sense of your experiences and identify ways of responding that feel more aligned, sustainable, and supportive of your well-being. This may include gently shifting patterns that no longer serve you, building on your strengths, and creating changes—both internal and external—that help you feel more grounded and more like yourself.

Even small shifts, when they are meaningful and aligned, can lead to significant change over time.

Therapy offers a space to step back from those patterns—not to fix who you are, but to better understand what you’ve been carrying and what you actually need.
